Things to Do in Saskatoon (2025): Best Events, Activities, and Hidden Gems
After returning from my decade long adventure to Vancouver I couldn’t help but wonder what things were happening in Saskatoon?. From an outside perspective it didn’t seem like there was much going on. Not to mention most of the events I looked up weren’t happening anymore. Back in Vancouver, and even in Calgary or Edmonton, I was always able to find some fun lively energy almost any night of the week. Whether there was live music, dancing, trivia, or improv, there were always good vibes and venues around town to let loose and enjoy!
After being back for a few years I can safely say Saskatoon is alive with activities and events—it’s just a community where you need to be “in the know” to find the best spots. To help uncover Saskatoon’s vibrant side, I’ve compiled this list of things to do in 2024-2025. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this guide will make it easier to find the fun, creativity, and energy happening all around.

Best Weekday Events in Saskatoon
Monday: Karaoke Nights and Cheap Movie Tickets
Karaoke at Crackers Saskatoon
Start your week with fun karaoke sessions at Crackers, a lively spot for entertainment on the north end of Saskatoon. Sing your heart out or cheer for others! Sign up for their league if you want to be a little more hard core they do Karaoke every night of the week

Cinema at Roxy Theatre
Start your week with a classic or indie film at this historic theater for some epic entertainment. This unique, independent movie theatre is a great place to kick back and catch a flick in Saskatoon. Monday night is cheap movie night! $6.67 tickets! This is definitely one of our favorite local activities in Saskatoon.

The Comedy Pit (Bi-Weekly)
The Comedy Pit – A Showcase of CLEAN Stand-Up Comedy
Enjoy a night of laughter with the Comedy pits’ hilarious, ever changing lineup. Every other Tuesday they put a show for up and coming comedians to develop and polish their clean stand-up comedy. There are even spots for first timers wanting to knock stand-up comedy off their bucket list.

Great food, awesome vibes and tasty tunes for an incredible entertaining night at the located in the historic fire hall just off broadway.
