Step 2 – Confirmations
Finalize the details! Let us know how many people will be in attendance, confirm your workshop details, and pay the deposit.
Step 3 – The Workshop Date
Our team will arrive and deliver your program! You can expect your team to leave the day feeling energized and filled with new tools and tricks to take forward to face the challenges they face in work and life.
Step 4 – The Follow Up
A few days after the event, we’ll follow up and see what the experience was like! Depending on the workshop we often have additional resources to provide!
We’ll also include a breakdown of observations and potential areas for future growth!

We keep our booking process simple and transparent. Once we’ve confirmed your workshop date and format, we’ll send an invoice outlining your session details and payment schedule.

How many people can you accommodate?
We regularly run workshops for 10–30 people and can easily scale up to 200+ participants for conferences or large corporate events using multiple facilitators.
How long are your workshops?
Our sessions range from 90 minutes to full-day experiences, depending on your goals and group size. We’ll help you choose the best format to fit your schedule and outcomes.
What topics do you cover?
Our workshops focus on communication, collaboration, adaptability, creativity, and leadership. Each session blends improv-based learning with practical tools your team can apply immediately at work.
Where do the workshops take place?
We deliver workshops on-site at your office, off-site venues, retreats, or virtually online. Need help finding a space? We can recommend great local venues in Saskatoon and nearby regions.
What should participants expect?
Expect high energy, zero pressure, and plenty of laughter. Our sessions are designed for all comfort levels – no experience required – just a willingness to participate and connect.
Do you offer packages or ongoing training?

How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking 4–12 weeks in advance for best availability, especially for larger events or conferences. Rush requests can often be accommodated depending on facilitator schedules.
Do you run virtual workshops?
Yes. Our virtual and hybrid formats are designed to keep energy high and engagement real. Whether your team is remote, hybrid, or distributed worldwide, we bring everyone together through dynamic, interactive sessions.

Yes. While based in Saskatoon, we travel across Canada and abroad to deliver corporate workshops on-site. We also offer fully virtual programs for teams around the world.
Terms & Agreements
Payment & Booking Terms
Securing Your Workshop:
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking and secure your facilitators. This deposit is non-refundable but may be transferred to a new date if rescheduled within 90 days of the original event, subject to availability.
Final Payment:
The remaining 50% balance is due fourteen (14) days prior to the workshop date. For ongoing partnerships or approved corporate accounts, alternate billing terms (e.g., Net 30) can be arranged in advance.
Payment Methods:
Payment can be made by e-transfer, direct deposit, or corporate credit card (a 3% processing fee applies to credit card transactions). Invoices are issued upon booking confirmation and again prior to final payment.
Travel & Additional Costs:
Any approved travel, lodging, or per-diem costs will be invoiced separately and included with the final balance unless otherwise arranged.
Cancellation Policy:
Workshops cancelled more than 30 days before the scheduled date will forfeit the deposit only. Cancellations within 14 days of the workshop date are subject to 75% of the total fee. Cancellations within 10 days are subject to the full fee. Rescheduling may be accommodated based on facilitator availability.
Custom Projects:
For multi-session programs or large events, an adjusted payment schedule can be arranged. A detailed proposal will outline deliverables, timelines, and associated costs prior to deposit.
Booking Agreement
This agreement confirms the booking between Blackbox Academy (“Facilitator”) and the client organization (“Client”) for the delivery of corporate improv training, workshops, or related services as outlined in the accompanying proposal or invoice.
Payment Terms:
A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total fee is required to secure the booking and reserve facilitators. The remaining balance is due seven (14) days prior to the scheduled workshop date, unless alternate written terms have been approved. All payments are to be made in Canadian dollars by e-transfer, direct deposit, or approved credit card.
Cancellations & Rescheduling:
Cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before the event will forfeit the deposit only. Cancellations within fourteen (14) days of the event are subject to seventy-five percent (75%) of the total fee. Cancellations within seven (10) days of the event are subject to the full fee. Rescheduling within ninety (90) days of the original date may be accommodated based on facilitator availability and at Blackbox Academy’s discretion.
Liability & Responsibility:
While all sessions are conducted in a safe and professional manner, participation in physical or interactive exercises is voluntary. The Client agrees to ensure that participants are informed of this and accepts responsibility for participant safety and conduct during workshops held on their premises or chosen venues.
Intellectual Property:
All workshop content, exercises, and training materials are the intellectual property of Blackbox Academy and may not be recorded, reproduced, or distributed without written consent.
Agreement:
By submitting the deposit or signing this document, the Client acknowledges that they have read and agree to the terms outlined above.
